The OthersBass Music Movement had the pleasure in meeting up with Dub Police’s longest running artist, The Others.

We talk Sci-Fi, cereal, getting signed oh and of course the release of his debut album ‘Red Planet’.

I have just seen you’ve been in San Francisco, How was your trip?

Yep went to San Francisco to play Ritual Dubstep, it was the first stop of four shows in the US and Canada. It was great, always love coming to SF it’s such a beautiful city and the parties are on point.

Your bio states “He is now the longest running Dub Police artist and has acquired the most releases for the label, pairing a prolific work rate with a high quality watermark on all his releases.” How did you start releasing on Dub Police?

I just handed Caspa a CD one night in London many years ago and the next day he rang me and said he wanted to put out some music of mine. At the time ‘Bushido’ was the track he was really in to, ‘Flapjack’ was picking up a lot of momentum gaining support from the likes of N-Type and Joe Nice so we also wanted that on the release.
