Rowan Harrington, better known by his stage name Secondcity, is an American-born British House and Techno DJ and producer, best known for his song ‘I Wanna Feel’, which peaked to number 1 on the UK Singles Chart. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and later moved to Forest Row when he was 12.
London based producers Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell are Dusky, a name that has become instantly synonymous with UK house and techno.
Just having a search on the Juno Digital site and can not believe the amount of releases these boys have had, just goes to show that consistency is definitely the key in this game!
With releases galore on some of the worlds most highly respected imprints including Sounds of Sumo, Lobster Boy, Senseless and Shifting Peaks plus extensive radio play from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Redlight, B traits, Toddla T, Nick Grimshaw, Kissy Sell Out and Rob Da Bank things really do seem to be taking shape for the duo.
Favourite track of ours has to be their remix of Chaos in the CBD’S Pale Moonlight and its up for grabs for free on their Soundcloud page along with some BBC Radio guest mixes and other downloads (LFO RMX has also been produced very well and I for one will be championing that cut in my DJ sets)
David Michael Rodigan, born 24 June 1951 on a military base in Hanover, West Germany, is a British radio DJ who also performs as a selector for his sound system. Known for his selections of Reggae and Dancehall music, he has played on stations including Capital 95.8, Kiss 100, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 2 and BFBS Radio.
Toddla T started DJing at the age of 14 in local clubs and bars and by the age of 16 he had left school to pursue a full-time career in the music industry. His stage name was given to him by the older Sheffield DJs who influenced him and was used to indicate his relative youth. He now regularly DJs all over the world and lives in Queen’s Park, London with long-term girlfriend and fellow BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac.
